Chirp Chirp – 02 December 2020

UNICEF study found that 63% of the world’s youth (ages 15-24) do NOT have internet access at home. We must not allow the class warfare of haves vs have nots that have divided nations to become generational. Instead we should use times of great disruption to drive dynamic change.

Congratulations for actions taken by New Zealand joining 32 other countries that have declared ClimateEmergency. Actions must get underway top down with enlightened leadership and bottom up through participatory governance. There is a role for everyone & everyone must have a role.

14 ocean facing countries pledge to sustainably manage their waters and will urge others to do so. Congratulations to: Australia, Canada, Chile, Fiji, Ghana, Indonesia, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Namibia, Norway, Palau, Portugal.
