Reimagining Workforce Resilience for a Global Corporation
TRG partnered with a global corporation to develop a comprehensive Workforce Support Policy that placed employee wellbeing at the core of crisis preparedness. By equipping managers with clear tools and guidance, the company became more resilient and compassionate in responding to global disruptions.
The Challenge:
As the pace and complexity of global disruptions accelerate—from climate-driven disasters to civil unrest and technological threats—one multinational corporation recognized a critical vulnerability: the lack of a structured approach to support employees during times of crisis.
To maintain operational continuity and uphold its duty of care, the company needed more than a contingency plan. It required a comprehensive Workforce Support Policy that would empower leadership to respond quickly, equitably, and effectively—before, during, and after a disaster.
Our Role:
The Rendon Group (TRG) was brought into design and operationalize a company-wide strategy that placed employee wellbeing at the center of crisis preparedness. Working in close coordination with the corporation’s global security team, TRG led the development of a policy framework that would translate high-level principles into day-to-day decision-making during emergencies. TRG delivered three core components:
A Workforce Support Policy articulating organizational commitments and procedural guidance;
A Supervisor Playbook and Decision Matrix to help managers assess risk levels and activate appropriate support responses; and
A Training Presentation to ensure consistent understanding and adoption across diverse teams and geographies.
The process included initial data collection, benchmarking best practices from peer enterprises, and a validation workshop with internal stakeholders to refine the policy before rollout.
The Outcome:
The finalized policy introduced a tiered system of response—ranging from minor disruptions to catastrophic events—giving supervisors the discretion to provide timely support within clearly defined financial thresholds.
The result was more than a new set of documents. It was a shift in culture: managers were newly equipped to act with clarity and compassion in moments of crisis, and employees gained confidence in the organization’s commitment to their safety and wellbeing.
By strengthening both process and leadership capacity, TRG helped this global company become more resilient, responsive, and human-centered—prepared not just to weather disruption, but to lead through it.
